Ukraine response

Austrian Red Cross — Integrated Master Budget

Supported a consolidated multi-donor master budget of approximately €11M over three years, with €7M concentrated in the first two years. The structure integrated operational components such as seasonal CVA, trainings and branch support into one financial management framework.

  • • Branch support: Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, Lviv, Zakarpattia and Chernivtsi.
  • • Main donors: Neighbour in Need and Austrian Development Agency.
  • • Team interface: one officer directly supervised plus two URCS finance colleagues.

CVA / Poland

German Red Cross — Ukraine Refugee Response

Supported a €1.6M CVA operation for 300 vulnerable families, prioritising older couples with chronic diseases, single mothers with two or more children and people with chronic health conditions.

  • • RedRose CVA platform procurement and operational setup.
  • • 10–15 volunteers mobilised per distribution cycle.
  • • CVA trainings for 40–60 volunteers per session in larger branch hubs.

Sudan / EU food security

Spanish Red Cross — Food Security, WASH & Livelihoods

Managed programme follow-up, EU reporting, procurement processes, audits and closure of a multi-sector operation in Red Sea State combining food security, livelihoods, WASH, gender and community capacity building.

  • • €1.2M EU-funded action over a programme extended to three years.
  • • 28 rural communities in Jebet al Maaden.
  • • Additional Diputación de Jaén contribution for complementary activities.
